The Book Blacksmiths
Every story begins at the forge. The Book Blacksmiths of Iron Forge Books are the craftsmen, dreamers, and storytellers responsible for shaping the worlds found within these pages. Some forge tales of fantasy and horror. Others craft adventures for younger readers or explore the complexities of the human heart.Though their voices may differ, they share a common belief:Stories matter.A good story can inspire courage, challenge beliefs, offer comfort, spark wonder, or remind us that we are not alone. Every book is forged with care, shaped through countless revisions, and released into the world with the hope that it may find the reader who needs it most.Welcome to the forge.

Haakin Fried
Master Book Blacksmith
Haakin Fried is the founder of Iron Forge Books and the primary architect behind the worlds of the Fractured Veil series, Shadows, The Arbor of Witness, and numerous future projects currently taking shape within the forge.Known for blending fantasy, horror, philosophy, and mythology, his work often explores sacrifice, identity, legacy, faith, grief, and the enduring strength of the human spirit.Born and raised in a small northern town, Haakin never expected to become an author. What began as a love of stories eventually became a calling to create them. Today, he continues to build worlds, challenge ideas, and forge stories designed to stay with readers long after the final page. When not writing, he can often be found learning new skills, building the Iron Forge ecosystem, lifting heavy objects before sunrise, or pursuing whatever project the forge demands next.
Finn Wilder
Junior Book Blacksmith

Finn Wilder crafts stories of adventure, discovery, and wonder for young readers. Best known as the creator of The Adventures of Felix, his work encourages curiosity, courage, problem-solving, and the belief that every great adventure begins with a single question.Through the Felix series, Finn hopes to inspire the next generation of explorers, dreamers, engineers, and storytellers to look up at the stars and wonder what might be waiting beyond them. When not helping young captains navigate distant worlds, Finn can usually be found searching for the next great adventure.
Dorian Vane
Book Blacksmith of Desire

Dorian Vane crafts stories that explore intimacy, vulnerability, desire, and the complex connections that shape our lives. Through romance, psychological drama, and character-driven storytelling, his work examines what happens when people lower their walls and allow themselves to be truly seen. While other Blacksmiths forge worlds of adventure, fantasy, or horror, Dorian's focus remains fixed on the human heart. His stories explore trust, power, longing, devotion, and the choices that define our relationships with one another.Known for emotionally charged characters and deeply personal journeys, Dorian believes that some of the greatest stories are not found on battlefields, but within the quiet moments shared between two people. When not writing, Dorian can usually be found studying human nature, refining his craft, and reminding the other Blacksmiths that every story, no matter the genre, begins and ends with people.
Chance
Forge Artist

Chance serves as the Forge Artist of Iron Forge Books, helping transform ideas into imagery and bringing visual life to the worlds forged within its pages.Working alongside the Book Blacksmiths, Chance creates concept art, promotional imagery, character designs, and visual explorations that help shape the identity of the forge. From distant worlds and forgotten ruins to dragons, heroes, and monsters, her work helps readers glimpse the stories before they ever turn the first page. While the Blacksmiths work with words, Chance works with imagination, helping transform sparks of inspiration into images that capture the spirit of the forge. When not creating new artwork, Chance can usually be found exploring new ideas, experimenting with creative tools, and proving that a single image can sometimes tell a story all its own.
